5 sound peoples collaborate with 5 video peoples. Each pairing was commissioned to take sound and video recordings from a bridge in the city in which they live (Mexico City, Melbourne, Montreal, Manchester and Rennes). These recordings became the source material for the resulting sound and video works. From concrete beats to melancholic melodies, this range of electronic artists from around the world utilizes and engages field recordings in radically different ways. From the harsh rhythms of Atoll Noise, through to the sweet lilting melodies of Remote Viewer and Mils, the bridge stories unfold and travel from one side of digitalia to the other.
